Improving your relationship with money takes work. These books will help you get a jump start on the process and one of them will even make you laugh!
These are the top 3 books I recommend to any client who's ready to get serious about clearing up old money habits and start fresh. It's NEVER too late to do this work.
#1 Jen Sincero's "You are a Badass at Making Money"
Starting off at #1 is by an author who will make you laugh. Jen Sincero has written a series of books to help you get control of your entire life - not just money. This book is one I can read over and over because we still need reminders after we've learned the lesson.
Plus she makes me laugh! And money isn't a subject many people can find humor in.

#2 on my Favorites list is "Your Money or Your Life"
This is the book that played a huge role in changing my relationship with money forever. I read it about 20 years ago.
The author presents the information in an easy-to-read style and brings things up in a unique way that I had never thought of before. It was a game changer for me. I was burned out with consumerism, credit card debt, and the American Dream that I never lived up to with two divorces behind me. So this book came into my life at the perfect time.
This book is for you if you've been feeling weary of our culture and the drive to make more, buy more, keep up with the Joneses, and running on that hamster wheel we call the rat race.

#3 "Rich Dad Poor Dad"
There's been some criticism of this book and this author over the last few years. However, I still recommend the book because it helps you learn a different way of looking at money.
If you've ever thought about opening your own business, buying real estate, investing in the market - this is the book for you. It's a great place to start, but isn't the stopping point for learning about assets and liabilities. Keep learning. always.
Happy Reading!
